The Competition

The 4two cup scholarship will take place at Tockwith International Aerodrome near Leeds.

Round 1 – Saturday 19th March 2011

Entry fee: £150 +VAT

This will consist of various motoring activities including:

Basic skid pan tuition
Gaining accurate car control around the tight auto test route
Laps on track in the 4two cup BRABUS race cars
Karting sessions and races

The judges and instructors will not necessarily be looking for outright speed, but good car control, ability to learn and take on board the instructors comments, race craft in karting and most importantly best improved drivers of the day.  The 30 best drivers of the day will be chosen to go through to round two.

Round 2 – Saturday 26th March 2011

Entry fee: £150 +VAT

We will conduct the same activities as round one, but the drivers will be pushed much harder and the speed and skill factor will be what the judges are looking for.  There will also be an added fitness test and media interviews to gauge your reactions to the cameras.  The best 10 drivers will be chosen to go through to the final.

The Final – Sunday 27th March 2011

Entry: FREE

The final day will involve a driver shoot out around the track at Tockwith, so you can show off the skills and experience you have gained over the two weekends.  The finalists will also have interviews with the judging panel to further impress them away from the track.  The winner will be announced on the day.
